Dispute Resolution Policy

This policy explains how talent and promoters should report, document, and work to resolve issues connected to bookings, contracts, performances, and platform payments.

1. Purpose and scope

This policy applies to disputes arising from bookings, contracts, performance obligations, cancellations, payment status, refunds, or conduct connected to a transaction managed through B-Agent AI. It does not replace emergency services, law enforcement, courts, regulators, or rights that cannot legally be limited.

2. Start with direct resolution

Talent and promoters should first use the platform’s messaging tools to identify the issue, share relevant facts, and propose a practical resolution. Keep communications professional and preserve all records.

If the issue is not resolved, either party may open a dispute from the relevant contract or Disputes area. A dispute should be opened promptly after the issue occurs and before funds are released whenever possible.

3. Information to provide

The opening party should provide the booking and contract, a clear description of the issue, requested outcome, event timeline, messages, invoices, photos, videos, receipts, and other relevant evidence. Submitted information must be accurate and lawfully obtained.

Each party must respond to reasonable information requests within the deadline shown in the dispute. Failure to participate may result in a decision based on available evidence.

4. Funds during review

Where supported by the payment arrangement, disputed funds may remain held while the matter is reviewed. Opening a dispute does not guarantee a refund, payment release, or particular outcome. Undisputed amounts may be handled separately when appropriate.

5. Review and possible outcomes

B-Agent AI may review contract terms, platform activity, payment records, communications, evidence, timing, performance, cancellation circumstances, and prior resolution attempts. We may request more information or encourage a negotiated settlement.

Possible outcomes include full or partial release to talent, full or partial refund to the promoter, revised payment timing, cancellation, account action, or closure without adjustment. Any platform determination is limited to controls and funds available through B-Agent AI and its payment providers.

6. Safety, fraud, and prohibited conduct

Threats, harassment, retaliation, fabricated evidence, coercion, or attempts to manipulate the review process are prohibited. Immediate safety risks should be reported to local emergency services first and then to B-Agent AI.

Suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or identity misuse may be referred to payment providers, financial institutions, insurers, or lawful authorities.

7. Chargebacks and external claims

Before initiating a chargeback, users should use the platform dispute process so the issue can be reviewed with complete transaction records. Improper or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions. Nothing in this policy removes chargeback, consumer, court, or regulatory rights available under applicable law.

8. Reconsideration and final records

A party may request one reconsideration when material new evidence becomes available or a clear factual error affected the outcome. The request must be made promptly and explain the specific basis for reconsideration.

B-Agent AI may retain dispute records as needed for payment administration, legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, and enforcement. For questions about this policy, contact us through b-agent.ca.
